This gold wedding ring in 18 carat has a really interesting hammered texture and rustic style. I start by making a simple band using traditional metalsmith techniques and then shape and texture it by hand. Each ring will have a completely unique finish so your ring will be one of a kind! A flat shape hammer is used to create a faceted irregular shape with a subtle ridged texture similar to stone along with some deeper notches. These photos show 2mm wide, other widths are available through the drop down menu above. Made using recycled gold which has exactly the same purity as standard gold but with less environmental impact.
